23 August 2021 | By Richard Ahern – Cheshire police force in the UK have gone ‘full woke’ by painting ‘Pride’ rainbows on their squad cars!

Woke culture strikes again…

The cars which are known as ‘hate crime cars‘ have been painted with rainbows to ‘beat hate crime’ and ‘give confidence to the LGBT+ community.

The cars have a variety of designs, most with rainbows painted on each side and bold lettering saying, ‘police with pride’.

Deputy chief constable Julie Cooke said that the squad cars are “there to try and give confidence to our LGBT+ community, but also to other under-represented groups.”

Critics hit back…

The highly political move got rightfully criticized, most saying that the police should focus on real issues like knife crime, which is at the highest recorded level in the past 10 years.

Harry Miller, a former police officer, condemned the move saying, “The problem is that the second that you see a rainbow car, you know that it is a police force that has made its mind up about some very contentious issues.”

Here’s the deal:

The critical issue is that this police force has now advertised its political leanings, clearly showing a left-wing bias that will undoubtedly alienate at least half of the population.

The move will most likely make the police less approachable to regular citizens but also less intimidating to real criminals.

TEACHER: Pledge Allegiance to the Gay RAINBOW Flag

29 August 2021 | By Richard Ahern – A California high school teacher is in hot water after she revealed she got her students to pledge allegiance to the gay pride flag.

Kristin Pitzen, of Orange County, posted a video to her TikTok where she boasted about how she lost the USA flag and replaced it with the pride rainbow.

She mentioned that one of her pupils asked where the USA flag had gone during the Pledge of Allegiance, so she told them to pledge to the pride flag she had in her classroom.

In her video, which has since gone viral, she said she removed the USA flag because it made her uncomfortable. She said she packed it away, but ‘forgot’ where she put it – it was clear she had ‘lost’ it on purpose.

Twitter reacted…

The radical left praised her, with one Twitter user saying, “Now that’s a flag I’d pledge to!”

However, many criticized the move, including parents. One user asked her why she lives in America, saying many people in other countries would happily trade places with her and asking, “So what times your flight?”

In another video by the teacher, she is seen wearing rainbow glasses, earrings, and suspenders and saying, “I pledge allegiance to the queers”.

She’s in trouble…

The original video has now been taken down along with her social media accounts and the school board has launched an investigation.

TRANSGENDER Weightlifter Laurel Hubbard Named SPORTSWOMAN of the Year

02 October 2021 | By Richard Ahern – Transgender Olympic weightlifter, Laurel Hubbard, has been named sportswoman of the year by the University of Otago at the Blues awards this week in New Zealand.

The controversial decision means that Hubbard, 43, is the first transgender athlete to win the award.

Laurel Hubbard became the first openly transgender athlete to compete in a solo event at the Olympics when she qualified for the 87kg+ category at the Tokyo games this year.

Despite winning the Oceania championships in 2017 and 2019, Hubbard’s performance at the Olympics was rather unspectacular.

The transgender athlete aged 43 crashed out of the competition after three failed lifts. Despite her initial attempt of a failed 120kg snatch, she decided to go up to 125kg; but both times failed to complete the lift by dropping the bar. The three failed attempts led to her premature exit from the competition.

Despite the Olympic results, Otago University felt Hubbard deserved the “Sportswoman of the year award”, saying in a statement, ‘‘We could think of no-one more worthy of sportswoman of the year than Laurel Hubbard who represented Otago and New Zealand incredibly well at this year’s Tokyo Olympics’’.

In a statement to the Otago Daily Times, Hubbard said she was “grateful for all of the support and kindness received from the teaching staff and students at Otago University’’.

Hubbard also said that “This award belongs to everyone who has been part of my Olympic journey’’.

Let’s be honest…

Congratulations are in order for Hubbard, who has undoubtedly competed to a high level despite a storm of criticism. However, the decision to allow Hubbard to compete against biological females in the Olympics and the decision for this award were purely results of woke thinking by event organizers.

Criticism should be fired at the committees responsible as it begs the question as to why there wasn’t a transgender athlete of the year award rather than awarding the title to an athlete who is biologically male.

However, what else could we expect from a ‘progressive’ institution such as the University of Otago?

Woke culture strikes once again, this time at the expense of female athletes.
