Alec Baldwin CHARGED With Involuntary Manslaughter Over RUST Shooting
— Over 15 months after actor Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the movie set of Rust, prosecutors have decided to charge him with manslaughter. Baldwin has consistently denied any wrongdoing and his attorney said they would “fight” the charges and “win.”
“This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice,” said Baldwin’s lawyer, Luke Nikas. Two other Rust crew members have been charged in relation to the death.
