09 February 2024 — Home Secretary James Cleverly has unveiled fresh legislation that could result in jail time and hefty fines for protesters hiding behind masks. This new addition to the Criminal Justice Bill, currently under parliamentary review, follows a series of intensifying Palestine protests.

Although police already possess the authority to demand mask removal during protests under the 1994 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act, this proposed law would give them additional power. Specifically, they could arrest those who refuse to comply.

This proposal is a response to recent incidents involving masked protesters who made illegal antisemitic remarks but remained untraceable due to police hesitance in making immediate arrests. Under the new law, those apprehended could face up to a month behind bars and a fine of £1,000.

No deliberations occurred in the week of July 17-21, and a juror absence halted discussions on Monday, 31 July. So far, the jury has deliberated for over 60 hours.

Trial judge Mr. Justice James Goss has reminded the jurors not to discuss the case with anyone until they resume on Thursday. Letby, 33, firmly denies all charges.

17 July 2023 — Rex Heuermann, the suspect in the infamous Gilgo Beach murders, has been portrayed as a loving husband and devoted father by his attorneys, who insist on his innocence.

Michael J Brown, Heuermann’s criminal defense attorney, emphasized that investigators are overlooking more plausible leads in the investigation of the deaths of Melissa Barthelemy, Amber Costello, and Megan Waterman.

“There is nothing about Mr Heuermann that would suggest that he is involved in these incidents,” Brown asserted in a statement to the press.

Several BBC stars have posted to social media to dispel rumors, including Gary Lineker, Jeremy Vine, and Rylan, who have all stated it is not them.

It took only three hours for the South Carolina jury to find Alex Murdaugh guilty of shooting his wife, Maggie, with a rifle and using a shotgun to kill his 22-year-old son Paul in June of 2021.

The following morning the once prominent lawyer and part-time prosecutor was sentenced to two life sentences without the possibility of parole by Judge Clifton Newman.

Murdaugh’s defense team is expected to file for appeal shortly, most likely leaning on the issue of the prosecution being allowed to use Murdaugh’s financial crimes as a weapon to destroy his credibility.

Prosecutors Claim Andrew Tate Turned Women into ‘SLAVES,’ but Alleged Victims Claim OTHERWISE

03 February 2023 — Romanian prosecutors claim Andrew Tate and his brother turned women into “slaves,” according to a court document provided to Reuters and published in a hit piece. Yet, the news agency admits it couldn’t “corroborate the version of events.” The news organization also conceded that it couldn’t reach the six alleged victims named in the document.

On the contrary, two of the six women have spoken publicly on Romanian TV, saying they’re “not victims” and that the prosecution is listing them as accusers against their will.

Prosecutors are also basing their case on allegations that Tate controlled the women’s OnlyFans accounts, a subscription-based website where creators publish erotic or pornographic content for paying users. In the same way, Reuters could not verify the existence of these OnlyFans accounts.

Donald Trump STILL Wants to SUE Twitter Despite Getting Account Back

29 November 2022 — According to his lawyer, President Trump still wants to pursue legal action against Twitter for banning his account in January 2021, despite it being reinstated earlier this month.

Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk ran a poll asking users if Trump should be allowed back, and 52% to 48% voted “yes,” with over 15 million votes cast. President Trump even shared the poll on his Truth Social account, asking followers to vote favorably. But it now appears he has no interest in returning as he is yet to use his reactivated account after almost two weeks.

Shortly after being reinstated, Trump criticized Twitter during a video speech, saying he didn’t “see any reason” to return to the platform because his social network, Truth Social, was doing “phenomenally well.”

The former president said Truth Social has much better engagement than Twitter, describing Twitter as having “negative” engagement.

To add insult to injury, it appears Trump still holds a grudge against Twitter as his lawyer reports he is still pursuing legal action against the company, despite the lawsuit being dismissed by a judge in May — he is appealing the ruling.
